Thoughts of the day
I've recently been thinking about how we choose to communicate with each other. Not just the medium, but also the way we craft the message itself. Words are shifting from being a mere option, not a necessity, when it comes to communicating. But, this has been a practice we have been doing long before our new lingual iconography appeared. After all, much of who we are and what we want to say often comes in the words we choose not to use.
"I have this theory about words. There's a thousand ways to say 'Pass the salt.' It could mean... 'Can I have some salt?' Or it could mean, 'I love you.' It could mean, 'I'm very annoyed with you.' Really, the list could go on and on. Words are little bombs, and they have a lot of energy inside them."
