I recently came across the phrase “A life lived long”, which can be mistaken to mean “a long life”, but what it actually implies, once inspected more closely, is that the length of our lives is a feeling derived from how we handled living itself.
Happy Monday, and think of Seneca's words:
“As is a tale, so is life: not how long it is, but how good it is, is what matters.”
