Thoughts of the day
What is a small part of your daily routine that bears a large significance on how your day unravels? It could be a lonely act, or one shared with someone else.
For artist Louise Bourgeois, it was her morning interaction with her assistant, Jerry Gorovy, who picked her up from her house in New York every morning at 10am and drove her to her studio. This daily ritual was so valuable to her, that she made a series of sketches titled 10 AM is When You Come to Me.
The hands in the series resemble those of a clock, the intimacy of a close relationship surpassing time.
