Klorolle, or Toilet Paper, was painted by Gerhard Richer in 1965, as part of his series ‘Household Icons’.

The smaller things have become the biggest commodities, some hilariously understandable, others less so. But, if something is valuable enough to be immortalised as a work of art, then who are we to argue.

The collection also included tables, pillows and lamps.
