Thoughts of the day
Having the ability to cook at home is an adventure to be created and shared with people you love. And if dinner parties may very well be our only form of entertainment for days and weeks to come, even for a handful of guests, it is up to us to turn them into memorable events.
Anthony Bourdain was a man who travelled the world, but that also taught the world the art of travel through its tastebuds. For him, the act of eating was an entire experience that extended beyond what was on the table:
“Context and memory play powerful roles in all the truly great meals in one's life.”
Perhaps creating a great meal has never had more significance than it does now.
