Thoughts of the day
Following a recommendation by a friend (the best way to discover something new and be almost entirely sure you will like it), I recently watched the Bill Gates documentary on Netflix, Inside Bill’s Brain.
Though on the surface he lacked the suave and media attention received by his main tech rival, the late Steve Jobs, he remains an incredibly intelligent, successful and charismatic persona, with a truly rare way of thinking and processing information.
Since we are still in the very early stages of the new decade, some of Gates’ wisdom can help fuel us with the patience we need to go through the 2020s, but also life in general:
“Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years.”
