The weekend is full of temptations, but since January is, unofficially, a month of hibernation, remember Blaise Pascal’s words:
“All men's miseries derive from not being able to sit in a quiet room alone.”
There is no need to call it meditation, or anything at all. In fact, sitting in a quiet room alone, removed from distractions, can lead to surprising outcomes.
